Meet Your Birth Doula

Hi, I'm Génesis Mundo. I'm a DONA-trained birth doula, proud Puerto Rican mama to my daughter Gemma, and the founder of The Birthing Magic.

My journey into birth work began through my own experience becoming a mother. During my birth, I was supported by a doula whose presence helped me feel seen, heard, and empowered. It was a deeply healing and transformative experience—one that forever changed the way I viewed birth and the strength that exists within every woman.

That experience inspired the name The Birthing Magic.

To me, the magic of birth isn't about having a perfect labor or a birth that goes exactly according to plan. The magic is found in the transformation that can happen along the way. It's the moment a woman discovers her resilience, trusts her intuition, and realizes she is capable of far more than she ever imagined.

As your doula, my role is not to make decisions for you or tell you how your birth should look. My role is to provide emotional, physical, and informational support so that you can make informed decisions and feel confident in your journey.

I believe every family deserves to feel respected, supported, and empowered throughout pregnancy, labor, birth, and early postpartum. Whether you're planning a hospital birth, birth center birth, home birth, epidural birth, induction, or unmedicated birth, I am here to support your goals without judgment and with an open heart.

As a bilingual doula serving Broward and Miami-Dade Counties, I proudly support both English and Spanish-speaking families throughout South Florida.
