I’m Génesis Mundo — Birth Doula, Doula Instructor and Perinatal Educator. I bring more than five years of experience teaching adults into the way I prepare families for birth.
I don’t want you to simply receive information. I want you and your partner to understand it well enough to use it when labor is intense, when plans shift or when a decision needs to be made.

Sometimes support isn’t about doing more. It’s about creating the conditions that help you feel safe enough to let go.
The environment around a laboring person matters. I pay attention to the things that can help a space feel calmer, more private and more intentional: lighting, sound, movement, breathing, touch, partner connection and reducing unnecessary stimulation.
When desired and permitted, we can also incorporate soothing sensory tools such as music and aromatherapy. I use relaxation, visualization and breathing principles that are also commonly found in hypnobirthing.

Why “The Birthing Magic”?
My own experience preparing for birth — including studying hypnobirthing during pregnancy — changed the way I understood relaxation, mindset, environment and support. Those lessons became part of the philosophy I bring into my doula work today.
It’s the moment you realize that even when birth is unpredictable, you can still be informed, supported, connected to your partner and involved in the decisions being made around you.

Hi, I'm Génesis Mundo — a DONA-trained birth doula, proud Puerto Rican mama to my daughter Gemma, and the founder of The Birthing Magic.
My own birth, supported by a doula who helped me feel seen, heard, and empowered, changed the way I see birth and the strength every woman carries. That's where the name comes from — the magic isn't a perfect labor, it's the moment a woman discovers she's capable of far more than she ever imagined.
As your doula, I offer emotional, physical, and informational support so you can make informed decisions and feel confident, whatever kind of birth you're planning. Bilingual, and proudly serving Broward and Miami-Dade Counties.
I also teach virtual doula certification training in Spanish — helping train the next generation of birth workers.

The support doesn't end at birth. Depending on your package, this includes immediate postpartum support right after delivery, a virtual postpartum follow-up to check in on healing and feeding, and an in-home postpartum visit for hands-on newborn and recovery support.
